About the Artist

A seasoned portrait artist, I create a spot-on likeness of a person while capturing a glimpse into his or her very essence or character.

I would love to do your portrait, or that of a loved one (including the 4-legged kind), in either oils, graphite or colored pencils, or charcoal/conte crayon. Just email me a JPEG of a favorite photo.
My portraits start at $100 for an 8" x 10" of one person, in pencil and other on-paper media, and at $200 for a small oil painting; shipping and handling charges start at $15 within the US. A non refundable deposit of 50% is required before I begin a portrait. When the work is nearly finished I can send you a photo of its progress for your approval.  I can also supply a white 11" x 14"  mat (inner opening 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" approximately) and foamboard backing for a portrait on paper for an added $20.

Generally I do not deal with framing, but upon request, with reimbursement and a gratuity of $10 to $20, I can pick up a standard-sized frame from a craft store or art supply store and have it installed.

I accept credit card, Venmo, and Paypal payments. I ask that you reimburse me for any fee.
